I ordered mine online and it came in the mail the middle of last week. I waited until yesterday morning to use the for the first time to make sure I would have enough time to get used to it without feeling rushed. WOW!!! What a great little machine!! All I can figure is the people that wrote bad reviews on here didn't follow the owners manual. This thing is very easy to use and once you are in the groove, takes no time at all. I took my time yesterday and did what the manual said (used plain water to practice) and overall it took me 30 minutes. This morning it only took me 5-7 minutes total. This one is a keeper and it looks like I will no longer be visiting the commercial coffee house all of us see on every corner. Well, I may need to go there on occasion to get specialty beans....;)

I have used this espresso maker for over 2 weeks now and with practice I am making great lattes! It is stylish and goes well with my stainless steel and black appliances. I bought a stainless frother pitcher that fits it just perfectly. It is easy to clean up. The directions were good except for how to froth properly. That is the part that has taken some experimentation. I like that the frother arm swings out for cleaning. I like strong espresso so I get 2 instead of 4 lattes out of one pot. I have to froth up 2 small pitchers of milk separately, but I don't mind. Overall, the quality is excellent for the price!

This machine is terrific! It's wonderfully compact and turns out a very hot espresso drink. The only qualm I had was the first time I used it, the directions were a bit unclear about the water amount. It says to "fill" with water, but you only need to measure the water about 1 line higher than how many shots you would like to make. The extra water is needed for the steam. After that small detour, I'm loving my machine! It's very easy to use and makes a yummy latte!

We bought one of these for ourselves for Christmas, and very soon we were making better -than-you-can-buy latte's. It worked so well, and we liked it so much, that we bought another one to give to one of our sons for his birthday. I think we're going to buy one more for another gift. It's hard to believe that such an inexpensive machine works so well!

Back in 2003, I purchased the previous model from Melitta and loved it. I used it everyday sometimes twice a day, and the result was a perfect cup of coffee, latte or capuccino everytime. I purchased this new model and love it even more. My old espresso maker is now in my office and is still going strong. I have become my co-worker's official "barista". This new model is so much better looking, the stainless steel top gives it an expensive look. It's very easy to use, and you can enjoy your favorite drink in minutes. The instructions will tell you how to make them. This machine is well built, easy to clean and will look good anywhere in the kitchen. Another great feature is the price. You dont need to spend a lot on a machine to get perfect drinks. I highly reccommend it to any coffee lover. You will save a lot without sacrificing quality vs. buying at that green lettered expensive coffee shop.
